Carob Hollow Vessel
Carob Hollow Vessel
Ahh carob! The carob tree was introduced into the desert by Mormon settlers in the 1800s. They wanted the fruits of the tree as a chocolate substitute so they planted theme all over the southwest and today we find them all over! I love the startling color changes and the texture of the rough and smooth intertwined. Add to that the kintsugi turquoise embellishments and its a one of a kind piece that would compliment and collection.
